Estelle To Los Arkos

Wow what a long walk we left at 7.45 and made Los Arkos by 1.15pm.We stopped along the way only a few times to have chocolate, bananas and oranges. We bought some jamon, baguettes and cheese for lunch. Which seems to be our staple lunch.Plan to walk to Torres Del Rio tomorrow only a short walk to give our bodies a little rest. The albergue was very hippy I booked in for a massage at 15 euro for 30mim I thought it was worth it.Waqlked through many wineries today maninly cab sav grapes. It was a cold one of 14c. and overcast but as soon as we arrived in Los Arkos the skies opened and we had perfect sunshine. We many some young people from Ottawa who  found some guitars at the albergue so we sat outsie and drank german beer and listened to then sing and paly. It was very nice. We had the pilgrims meal for dinner of lentil soup with chorizos and potato, roast chicken and a caramel dessert. Also had some red wine forgot to mention.Lots os snorers in our room so I politely woke them up and told them they were too noisy everyone else in the room copuld not get to sleep.Woke up at 7am . Left at 8.20am for Vianna. The track was pretty lots of red poppies grow over hear just naturally, but the tracvk has yellow canola flowers in bllom the red poppies and a purple herb just growing along the trach ver picturesque. We stopped and ate some boiled eggs and bread we are just a liitle over the sweet breakfast. Treated ourselves at Vianna with churros and hot chocolate. We ate tapas for lunch of choizos, jamon and tortillas. We met a couple from Albion Park who are friends with Donna and James walker very small world. We sat and had a heinken with them in the square at night. Lovely couple. They leave early for the walk so we haven´t bumped into them again. The albergue we were in is very crampde bunks stacked 3 high and again we had a man , looking very much like Danny De Vito, from Italy snoring all night. Oh well.We have new companion with us Alex a young 19 year old from Ottawa who is going to walk with us to Logarno. Adios.
