Aterpuerca
Waited for the girls at the local cantina where I met John from London who has done the walk 7 times. He shared his digestive biscuits and he was so happy to speak english. Not a lot of people here speak english. It´s good as it forces you to actually try the langauge, We are progressing well with the language we haven´t gotton into too much trouble yet. The albergue here is in a old farm house very basic there are 20 of us in bunks in the barn. Tomorrow Burgos, We are all going to bus it tomorrow the girls want a rest plus it´s 39 kms there a little too far. The days are getting hotter and by noon around 25 C so a little too hot in the open fields. Again we had the pilñgrims meal as most of these albergues have no kitchen and there is limited supplies in the villages. All albergues have curfew times of 10pm and all out by 7 -8am so theres no mucking around in the morning. I´ll post more on Aterpuerca next time.By the way John was over 65 and looking for a lady to share his travels any takers'? I quickly got rid of John. I´m surprised at how many men there are doing this walk from 20 -80. Good on them. Adios.
