Burgos
We have decided to stay at Burgos for 3 days to get my foot looked at. It is rather swollen , blue, red and I have a large absess on the top. We went to the Hospital and the urgensies Hospitale is very efficient saw me straight away they whisked me to the trauma doctor who decided to lance the absess. It was not a pretty site. Greer was going to take a video but, she was feeling rather unwell when the doctor cut the absess. The doctor drained it, washed it and dressed the wound and I have to be off my feet for about 7-10 days. I bought some crutches at the Farmacia for 24 euros they are mine forever. With the history of spains and broken bones in our family I thought they would probably come in handy in the future.I´m on antibiotics and pain killers so all going well I will again walk the camino soon. Greer and Britney love Burgos so they don´t mind staying here a few days. It again is a beautiful city on river with a bigger than bigger church and a very lively night life. The girls went out last night and the dancing -music doesn´t start till 1.30am so they didn´t get home till 5am.Its all very safe here, very clean and very much a family orientated country everyone loves babies. We paln to roam around Burgos for the next few days and eat Tapas. We found a nice Tapas bar near vthe plaza called Moritizos. Loved the octopus with garlic chive potatoes, mushrooms with jamon, bbq chicken and sangria. yum.adios.
